I have a good friend, a pastor (Pryor wood and cabinet maker) he has often said that he heard God while working the band saw or ripping the lumber. Yet another friend connects with God while rocking on his guitar. It seems that God is present in the things that we love and participates with us in our hobbies. I believe I hear God voice the most in the midst of a menial task like washing the dishes. Maybe it takes the simple distractions of life to clear the mind and tune-in to the frequency of our Father?
